"We're practicing our lines for a quiz in Greek-- Greek tragedy. It's not really a play;[we're the] Chorus. "

“Right now we are rehearsing for a scene about the Furies. It’s kind of rough right now, but we are getting it done. When it is time to perform, we are going to go out there and do the best that we can because that’s all I can ask for. I really like theatre; I think it is really fun and everyone in the class has a really good attitude. I’m a senior, and I had never taken a theatre class at Leesville before, but I did do some acting at my old school. Now I have a chance to get involved because I got into the musical.”

"I'm in the musical. I'm in the ensemble. But I was in the [fall] play, I was the cat. And I also Mack. You might of heard of me (laughs). Rave reviews, rave reviews."

Why did you get into Theatre?

" Being able to express yourself ."

"I was just like-- 'heck yeah, theatre!'"

"I like acting."

'Uh, you know, I'm good at it, so..."

"Well, I took theatre in eighth grade and I enjoyed it, so I thought I would take it again in high school and see what the difference was. We do a lot more memorization and learning how to get outside your comfort zone and be yourself in your skits."

"Last semester was kind of a hard semester so I wanted a class that would be a little easier."

"I was already in two plays in my old school and I just said, 'why not?'"
