“For the first time this semester with my ninth grade Paedia world history kids, we devoted the entire class to discussion of current events. We had some really great discussions about such relevant North Carolina issues as same sex marriage, HB2, the Confederate statues, and it was really fun. It was good to see 60 fourteen year olds participating in discussions about the world today rather than social media, trop smoothies, or Birkenstocks."
