"I'm working really hard..."

"I'm trying to stay focused. I working really hard to get A's and B's because before I was a straight F student. So now I'm trying to work my way up, but yeah this school is helping a lot. I came from a small town called Oxford and went to a magnet school there, although it was more like a boarding school. It didn't have that many people. I had like 10 people in my class, so this is a big experience for me. My mom, she didn't go to college, like no one in my family really did. I want to inspire myself to be the first one in my family to go to college. Reading has also helped me to improve myself in school. My favorite books are the ones by Charles Dickens."
